Windows Having Issues with Xbox Controller

Hi! Hoping for some advice, I've tried to find something on my particular issue but so far nothing.

I have an Xbox controller I just bought this month. It's worked great on the game so far, but it's not working tonight. I've checked it's connectivity on my PC with both Steam and through the Xbox accessories app and it worked fine, and in Stardew itself, the left and right triggers work, but no other buttons. I've tried turning both the computer and my laptop off, turning off and reconnecting the controller through Bluetooth, replacing the controller batteries, and forgetting the controller and reconnecting, but nothing seems to work. The mouse and keyboard work fine, just not the controller. I've also toggled the Gamepad Mode option to each separate option, as well as the Use Controller-Style Menus, but nothing happened.

I'm playing it on my laptop, Windows 11, and downloaded Stardew from the Microsoft store. I'm also playing English single-player.

Hi!

I have tried remapping, but it won't let me remap any buttons in the game for some reason. I did see my Xbox controller needed an update this morning on the accessories app so I updated it, but it's still not working in Stardew, though I tried it on a different game and it worked fine
