having issues with pierre’s prime produce quest!

*edit* i’m dumb and didn’t realize melons weren’t vegetables till after i posted this

so i accepted this quest from the board, bought 50 melons and 50 quality fertilizers. planted them and then got 28 gold star melons. i went to put them in the box and it won’t allow me to /: i’m unsure what i’m doing wrong. even on the quest in my journal it says i’ve completed the “harvest gold quality vegetables” but it just won’t let me put them in the box. do i have to plant something else? ):

Vegetables, not Fruit. Don't waste gold melons, use wheat (faster to grow, cheaper to buy).
