Has the Owl event spawn been changed in 1.5?

I was just playing on my farm, and when i went to sleep, i heard the owl sound. The thing is... my farm is almost entierly full of grass, so i don't know how it could have spawned. Was its spawn requirments changed in the last update?

I don’t have the updated version, but I did read that the formula to spawn the owl statue and the strange capsule had been changed. Still, it’s a rare event. Congratulations! I’m jealous.

I got a strange capsule right after the update as well. Maybe there was just an event change overall

The odds of both of these events were changed, but I don't think others were.
