Perhaps some dialogue from Grandpa, or letters from parents, EARLY in the game which suggest pursuing the slow-earned achievements from rabbits (rabbit's foot) for the Community Center before Year 3? There is no guidance (like dialogue from Grandpa, or letter from home) that the rabbit's foot is improbable without either 1) getting a rabbit early enough in the game so you can get it to 4+ hearts, or 2) getting the Skull Key which means reaching level 120 in The Mines. Yes, it's possible to get re-evaluated later in the game. But that's not the point. Nowhere in the game is there any guidance that this one item is an extremely improbable drop from a rabbit until it has 4 hearts. And the Community Center can't be completed without a very loving rabbit (which takes a very long time), or aggressive pursuit of the Skull Key. The Traveling Cart option is low RNG, and anything relying on that in a game would just be short-sighted. All I'm suggesting is that the next update include a hint/suggestion so that future players will have a respectable opportunity to discover that raising rabbits, which apparently Grandpa covets above his own grandchild, is something to pursue early in the game. I have a few days remaining to get the Skull Key, or an unlikely drop from my rabbit before Year 3. Just suggesting a means to not frustrate future players. Stardew is a fun game all the same.
