Switch Got stuck in the creek on hill-top farm

I had just picked up the bait from the worm bin, then walked left while holding it, with the ‘A’ button held, to remove the item from the crab pot and refill it with bait.

My character walked on top of the crab pot and into the water. I could not get out of the water. The top two pots got filled and couldn’t be moved but I could still pick up the bottom pot and place it back down.

Playing in English on Nintendo Switch with controller. On day 15 of Fall.

I’m just realizing now that since I got stuck on the 15th day of fall, and I had no money, I had to pass out and wake up on the day of the Stardew Valley fair with no money to play any games… I feel like just restarting at this point because I do not know where to sell any items to make money the day of the fair.
