Got a dinosaur egg

for some reason the forum wont let me upload posts because they're "too large" even if i upload to imgur and redownload or something.

But I decided to do my first run in skull cavern, got to level 85 but got a dinosaur egg. I've put it in the incubator and I'm assuming I'll have a dinosaur but what else does it do and is it valuable?

The dinosaur lays an egg periodically which you can make dino mayo with...sells for good coin.

to add to the above post, you should also donate the first dino egg your dino lays to the museum, since it's considered an artifact

The Dinosaur Egg was one of the first artifacts I found.

Never Donate the First Dinosaur Egg to the Museum. Incubate it, and the hatched Dinosaur will lay new ones for you. It's quite hard to find, and you'll waste it by donating it to the Museum.

As you can see, dinosaur eggs are an incredibly important artifact to acquire for completionist purposes. It was a very rough time before pepper rexes were added as you had to rely completely on rng to get an egg.

I definitely would put it in an incubator. though you won't be able to donate it to the museum, you will still get an egg eventually. That also helps you later to get some dino mayo because it is in the "missing bundle", which gets you the movie theater.

I don't have a incubater for free and I have unpgraded the coop.
It shows up in the list of things you can buy from along with the incubater for the ostrich which I don't have the eggs to utilised it.
Maybe I should venture into the cave combate to make it possible for me to obtain this. I avoid the cave only when to it once. I'm on year 55 second time around since I recieved a new phone and it's not a iphone.

I'm 55 yrs game wise, and I play the game on my Samsung A25.
Been playing this game 2016.
Could use all the help I can get.
Had to get new phone by internet I beling to.
Without the book with instruction no one has given me the clue.
Would greatly appreciate it since it's taken me 3 times starting over. So basically I have over 100 yrs game wise and I am sure I missed something that would make it a whole lot easier for me.

Look at the image of Big Coop interior. See that wooden column/post thing with some hay on top, to the left of the hay hopper? That is the incubator that comes with the coop upgrade. You put chicken, duck, or dinosaur eggs into it to hatch them.

you can take a screenshot in game by going in the options menu and scrolling all the way to the bottom to the camera symbol.

You can take a screenshot on your phone by pressing the on/off and the volume down key at the same time.

Note too that if you have the appraisal guide, an Iridium quality Dinosaur egg will fetch more as a dinosaur egg than as Mayo.
