i got one then i put it in pelican town and lewis got pissy and it was destroyed and then i gave the destroyed remains to lewis

so now i don't have one
is there a way to get another? it was a nice item tbh

When Lewis gets pissed that you put it in town, it wasn't destroyed, just relocated. I loathe to spoil it for you... but if you search the town thoroughly, you should find it. (Alternately, the Wiki will tell you the locations where to find it.)

It’s in Marnie or Lewis’ house, usually it’s in Lewis’ but you can check the wiki for exact probabilities (I think it’s 75% it’s in Lewis’ and 25% for Marnie)

I'm not sure it can be recovered if destroyed. It is recoverable if left in town and replaced with a weed (and then rippytrippy's answer applies), but only if it isn't destroyed, which prevents that from happening. If it is destroyed on the farm, I fear the same would apply.
