PC Gold star flower animating

Iridium stars (or that brown bar that shows instead of the iridium star) animate for crops, but gold stars also animate for flowers.

I don't know how we know this, but the general consensus is that quality stars animate only for the highest quality. But both gold and the bugged iridium star animate.

Note that I used SMAPI when seeing this inconsistency.

This may have come about because gold star quality was previously the best you could get for flowers?

Late reply, but previously the gold star animated only for flowers, and not other types of crops. We assumed it was a bug with all crops except flowers. The addition of iridium has made the problem weirder.
