Gold coconut financial mailbox issue

The Parrot said I needed 20 gold coconuts to rehab the house on Ginger Island. Then he asked for 5 more for the mail box. I said no because I was gold coconut broke after paying the 20. Now I have the money but cannot find out how to buy the mailbox.
If the parrot said 25 I would have had the option to buy it. What can I do now to get the mailbox on Ginger Island?

It is golden walnuts you give to the parrots. Golden coconuts are something different entirely.

There should be a stand with parrots sitting on it just near the hut. Approach them.
