Why are gobies poisonous? I've eaten them. They're perfectly safe.

The name "Goby" is used for a lot of small and medium ray-finned fish with certain shared physical characteristics. Some aren't even in the Gobiidae family and I' pretty sure some are actually a type of dartfish that might be poisonous. In any case, it's likely CA based the Stardew Goby off a different fish than the one you ate.
