Switch Gifts for George quest

Hiya!
Has anyone else encountered no leeks being available to forage once they've accepted this quest?
I had the required leeks in storage so placed them in Evelyn's kitchen and am wandering around the map trying to forage. No leeks!
Could this be a bug for 1.6?

I'd attribute it to bad luck, not necessarily a bug-- accepting a quest doesn't automatically make it possible to fulfill when it involves randomly generated items. You can plant spring seeds to get some leeks though, if you still have at least 7 days left on the quest, or have the right speedgro to grow it before then. It'll still be down to luck on how many leeks you get, but it will give you higher odds than waiting for them to spawn, especially if you can plant a lot of them.
