Issue Game won't load past main menu. :(

Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me out here, because I am just about at my limit. :c I've been trying to fix my game for almost eight hours now and I don't know what else to do at this point. My game used to work fine but I couldn't play for a while so I went and updated everything that needed it, and now nothing is working. The game freezes up when I either try to load a save or create a whole new one, the whole thing just stops responding. I tried to follow the fixes for common issues but nothing seems to help, and at this point I'm very frustrated and confused and all I wanted was to farm. :(

Admittedly I'm not super good with mods, I kinda stumble my way through using them. But I tried to fix any issues that came up in the smapi log but there isn't anything helpful in there now, it just keeps telling me to update a few mods that are already updated as far as I can find, I don't know why it still says they're not. I'm really at my wits ends and would really like some help finding out what's causing this, and if there's anyway to fix it without having to remove and add all my mods back individually. Or if there's an easier way to do that, maybe.

it just keeps telling me to update a few mods that are already updated as far as I can find, I don't know why it still says they're not.

That can happen when the person that creates the mod forgets to properly specify that they've created a new version of the mod. So they'll update the mod, but SMAPI will think that it the latest version. If you know that you've updated those mods, you don't have to worry about that. You could always leave a message about it on the Nexus page of those mods, just to let the creator know, but otherwise you can just ignore those.
