Solved Game won’t start, just purchasef

I just purchased this game tonight on iPhone. On initial screen I push New. On second screen, I’m allowed to customize my character and choose farm type but nothing happens when I push the check mark and the game will not start. Obviously, I want a refund unless this can be fixed easily.

So I just checked my mobile version, both on iPhone and on iPad. Have you tried force closing the app and restarting your device?
Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app?

How old is your device?
I could not get the problem to happen on mine, so these are just general ideas that usually fix app problems.
