Game shows white screen and crashes after startup

Hello!
I never really had any issues with SMAPI and Stardew Valley up until yesterday. Everytime I try to open the game now it either is just a white screen with the game sounds playing in the background and crashes after a while, or my Laptop suddenly shows a full black screen for a few seconds and then closes the game.
I've tried reinstalling the game, updating SMAPI, deleting some newer mods I installed and even deleted the startup_preferences file but nothing helps. So I was hoping someone here could help me figure out the issue. :(

I'm not seeing any actual SMAPI errors. The errors you do mention, like black/white screens; sound more like a graphics driver issue.
Since, the issue just started recently; were there any updates the computer had?
