Mac Game not launching on MacBook Steam

Hi everyone!

I recently had purchased the game off steam for my MacBook after being a massive fan of it on my switch. However every time I try to launch the game through steam, it never opens and crashes only a couple seconds after. Ive tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it about 3-4 times and also have verified the game files through preferences but nothing seems to work.

Im currently using macOS Sequoia ver 15.3.2, on an M3 chip MacBook Air.

Is anyone able to help with this?/

Hi there! Please try the solutions mentioned in this link: https://www.stardewvalley.net/stardew-valley-troubleshooting-guide/, specifically the ones that say "Stardew Valley is not launching on Mac".

If none of that works, you can try running the game in compatibility mode as explained here: https://www.stardewvalley.net/compatibility/.

Let me know if that works.
