Game keeps saying I need to update to 1.6.9, I am updated fully

I've tried deleting a few problem mods I don't really use but it's still saying I can't open the game because it needs to update to 1.6.9 and the mods I'm trying to run are 1.6.8. I didn't have an issue until I randomly tried to login in yesterday. I don't know how to get smapi logs, and I would appreciate any help. I have a farm I've been working on for a little over a year now and I'm gonna be gutted if I lose it
