Game did not register 3 golden walnuts

I found all the walnuts, and also did a walkthrough using Mr. Penguinpandas tutorial..and I have them all. The only hint the parrot is giving me now is that "it's hidden in the pages of the journal" or something like that..I thought maybe it was the jungle shrine one, but it won't even let me try to put the gems on at all(and I know I finished that one) I did the "simon says" one, the banana one and the hippy frog one. Is there a known glitch with this part. I am at 99 percent complete, just caught the last fish, the angler. But there is no way I can get 99 percent with it not registering the walnuts I found.....any suggestions I would be so happy to hear!

I'm pretty sure "hidden in the pages of the journal" refers to the three spots marked by X's in the pictures on three of the journal scraps. I know you said you found them all, but maybe go to those spots and just hoe the spots again? Maybe that would help remind the game that you have them?

It means that the walnuts you are missing are hinted at by journal scraps.

Journal scrap #4 tells you where to find one in Ginger Island West.

Journal scrap #10 tells you where to find one in Ginger Island North.

There are also 7 golden walnuts that you do not receive hints for. (3 for darts, 3 from the banana shrine, 1 from a bush in the gem bird shrine area.)

Thank you for the suggestions, doing the walkthrough it led me to all of those places and I already did all of those. I honestly think something didn't register when I completed this. It seems like the last one I did was the darts, I will go there again and see if it lets me play it.
