Issue Game crashing when trying to start new day

The game saves after going to bed but then it gets stuck on the "saving'' screen until it crashes, the issue started a couple of days ago and I thought it was one of the mods causing the problem and proceeded to remove the new ones I had downloaded as it was when my FPS started to drop, but even after removing them and getting the game to run smoothly again the problem persisted so maybe I did something wrong while updating Smapi or any of the mods that were already in the folder as I'm fairly new to playing with mods and have a not so great PC so I'm still learning how these things work
