Issue Game crashing after first walnut in Ginger Island

I can get to Ginger Island, and go to the right and get the first golden walnut, go through the little cutscene giving it to the kid and the parrot telling me to go to the lava river.
As soon as I go outside and follow the flame north the game freezes as it tries loading that north part.

I can see I think its something to do with a tree but like, I don't get it. Thank you!! I've never been to Ginger Island and I really would like to start it!

wait that totally worked, it made my horse and cat back to normal, so i guess it just took out certain mods? honestly i've never done that before so i'm not sure what it did but it worked so thank you!!!! lmao
