Switch Game Crashes when placing cherry bomb multiplayer

In Stardew Valley version 1.6.9.36 on the Nintendo Switch, there’s a recurring issue in multiplayer mode where the game crashes whenever a player places a cherry bomb in the mines. This crash occurs whether both players are in the mines or just one, though it seems to be more frequent when both are present. The expected behavior would be for the cherry bomb to explode without any issues, but instead, the game consistently crashes, disrupting gameplay and making it difficult to progress through the mines in multiplayer.

We tested placing a cherry bomb three times and every time the game crashed.

Hello! I also experienced this on the switch and experimented with all bomb types. This occurs every time with every bomb type in my multiplayer online game. Sorry, this is not a helpful reply, but maybe it will grab attention quickly!

We are having the same issue on xbox right now. Skull cavern on the luckiest day and our entire game keeps crashing. There was once it crashed because of an issue other than a bomb as well

Can confirm also having this issue.

Also having issue with some levels of the mine “freezing” the animation after breaking stones seems to glitch and will not drop.

This also occurs even if you are on the farm. If the client uses one it crashes for both the host and the client. If the host uses one, it just crashes the client.

My partner and I were trying to enjoy the Desert Festival on our switches but were very limited in the caverns as we also experienced this bug. Crashed us every time; hopefully this gets fixed soon!

This also happens in split screen multiplayer. When any type of bomb is placed seemingly anywhere in the game, it will crash instantly.
