This just started happening to me yesterday, but my game crashes immediately if I launch from within the Steam client, but does not crash if I launch manually (Browse Game Files --> Stardew Valley.exe). But I want steam to track my stuff...

I have the following three errors:

I tried verifying game files, reinstalling the game, rebooting the computer, and other tips found on this forum.

I got it to work by changing the compatibility mode in Steam.

Gear Icon --> Properties --> Betas --> Select compatibility - For 32-bit systems. The legacy, XNA version of Stardew Valley.

Even though I'm running a 64-bit OS.

@ShinyPorygon has posted that fix a number of times and it seems to work. It's not clear to me yet why the Beta version works but I do know there is a problem with certain video systems (Intel HD 3000, and maybe HD 2000) since the switch from DirectX 9 to OpenGL for the display language, and perhaps the Beta 32-bit version reverts that back to DX9?

I'm not sure... coreclr.dll seems to be the culprit, but again, only when I launch it in steam, so I don't think it's the game itself. I did try removing the launch settings file but that didn't help.
