Xbox Game crashes when I talk to raccoon

I’m playing multiplayer split screen with me and 1 other person. I’ve made sure to not have any non specific preserved item. It is raining and the first time I’ve talked to them.

It seems to be an Xbox issue, there was an update and everyone on Xbox is reporting the same issue, it’s also crashing when some people try to collect their wine, go to sleep, or talk with a few other NPCs. Sadly the update was on Christmas Eve. So we probably won’t see a fix for a few days at minimum.

I tried it again 12 hours later and it worked fine. Odd

I see we are on 16.9.42 now as of this morning - only thing I see crashing now for some folks is mayonnaise.
