Switch [Game Crash] Online Multiplayer - Unlocking the midway exit shortcut in the volcano

This crash occurred on version 1.5.4 of the Switch version of Stardew Valley. This occurred while hosting an online multiplayer session with 2 players total. The in-game language was set to English.

The crash was a full game crash, which resulted in the host of the online session being forced back to their Switch home menu.

This crash was triggered with the following steps:

1. Have both players on floor 5 of the volcano.
2. Ensure that the total number of golden walnuts available is greater than 10.
3. Have a player attempt to give an item to the other player.
   • Doing this does not transfer the item, but instead removes 5 golden walnuts and opens the exit shortcut.
4. Have a player attempt to give an item to the other player once again.
   • Doing this does not transfer the item, but instead removes 5 golden walnuts and the parrots attempt to "re-open" the exit shortcut. This results in a game crash after the animation of the parrots concludes.

It seems that the item transfer is overridden by the shortcut opening event. I am unsure if this occurs with other golden walnut events around the island. I am also unsure what happens if players do not have enough golden walnuts to open the shortcut.
