Windows Game continually crashes before saving when I sleep.

I have started coming across this issue on the main save file that I play on where the game will crash sometimes when I go to sleep, right before it saves. This usually isnt that big of a deal. I just re-open the game and play the day again. However, over the last couple of days I have become stuck on the 16th of spring year, year 5. No matter what I do in the game, the game crashes right before I go to sleep. I opened another save file to see if the issue happened there, but I was able to go to sleep and still have it save. I am not very computer savvy, and usually I would try to fix this myself, but I have no idea where to start. Any help or suggestions at all would be much appreciated.
