If a Friend or other card says, “Gain a Random (Not Your Professional) Upgrade”, can you do anything with that option? Can you give it to another player that has that Profession? Or, as I played it, just considered it a worthless “gain”.
You just draw a profession card from that particular deck and treat it as your own, either adding it to one of your empty spaces or replacing one of your other upgrade cards if you have two already.
