Fruit Tree Bee Pollination and Honey Types

Hi, big fan. I am a biologist and was recently playing with my friends when I discovered that flavors of honey are limited to flower crops. I would suggest that bees also produce honey that is flavored by fruit tree blossoms. Bees are often used to pollinate orchards, and it is well known that bees will produce honey using the nectar from such trees. This would benefit the game in multiple ways:

One, trees often blossom before the season that they are ripe, so then trees could have a season where they are flowering and then a season where they produce fruit. This would add aesthetic interest.
Two, this gives people a reason to plant trees outside of the greenhouse, as the seasonal variation could potentially only occur outside the greenhouse.
Three, it would increase the use of bees as now they are benefited by both orchards and flower gardens
Four, as fruit blossom honeys are quite valuable in real life this would provide another variation of farm design

This hopefully would not be so difficult for you as code could potentially be repurposed. With the addition of textures for flowers, blossom generation could use the code for fruit generation on trees. I am not sure if honey flavors are dependent on the detection of particular crop entities rather than tree entities, so I'm not sure how difficult that would be.

If this is interesting, one could also go further. There is also something called "forest honey," where honey is produced using the honeydew of aphids that live on forest trees or the sap of these trees. It is difficult to produce, and requires bees that exclusively get nutrients in forests. It is also a valuable specialty good. The mechanics of its production could involve surrounding the hives with a particular density of normal trees, though I understand that this could cause certain balancing issues. This might be interesting however if there was some way to foster the introduction of aphids. However, this mechanic may be too complicated, and my primary interest involves the flowering of fruit trees.

I was just thinking about this the other day! I agree, it would be nice to have fruit trees outside of the greenhouse or on Ginger Island.
