I think that every time you upgrade one of your tools with Clint, buy a new animal from Marnie, or construct/upgrade something/your house with Robin, you should gain at least 50 friendship points with them for doing so. It's an easy way to get friendship points, plus Clint is sooooo hard to give gifts to. But I think this should only apply to Year 1 since in Year 2+ you usually have a lot of money and diamonds and prismatic shards and so it's easier to gift people gifts they love. What do you guys think?
