I always like it, when we get a task to beautify the valley.
So there could be one to train Dusty and then it gets free movement around it's hut or in the town center...

Or Alex could take him for a walk every now and then instead of just looking at the dog house.

Well, my Farmer married Alex twice so far and I thought first he would bring Dusty with him to live on the Farm furtheron. Was a bit sad to find out that he doesn't, while Abby or Emily bring their pets along. So, yeah, it would be a nice extra to see Alex take him to the beach for playing i.e. or give him a farm life, if you marry his "master"...

I'd really like it if, in some way, Dusty could roam around similar to an NPC. Follow Alex around, engaging in cute interactions as the town's beloved dog. I like the idea of Dusty being raised by the village lol-

It’s implied that he lost his father and that money is extremely tight for him. Fisherman life is notoriously difficult and lonely.

But maybe Gunther hasn’t had it too bad? We don’t get much of a backstory for him.

And Gus?

Yeah, maybe I’m reading too much into him… but he doesn’t have much of a life running the bar everyday. I feel like he’s one of those people who is surrounded by a lot of people but feels lonely. He gets to hear everyone else’s issues, but never gets to talk about himself. His living is dependent on his regulars, which probably doesn’t feel good. Also, things are financially tight.
