Four Corners is the ugliest farm choice?

I don't know, I think the Riverland Farm still reigns supreme in the ugly farm catagory. The whole farm looks kinda dumb. Like-

"Grandpa. Why did you choose this bum waterland as my inheritance?"

I agree. Riverlands is so cluttered yet has no good spot of land for main farming and is not very accessible. The best looking is the forest.View attachment 34663
Literally love the forest farm. It just feels so serene. I really like the secret woods, and this farm makes me think of the secret woods.

However...

I do think the Meadowlands farm is... Drop. Dead. Gorgeous. Like... Look at it. It has waterfalls. Pretty privilege kinda farm right here.

The cliffs are jarring, yeah, it's one of my main complaints with four corners as a map. They really get in the way early game, too, and make traversing your own farm a pain, which it really shouldn't be.

I'd love to just have those permanent fences you see at the bus stop, or some ability to break them down/replace them in some way.

Four Corners farm is the only layout that I never played and I was tempted to use it for my next farm. Your remarks here raise interesting questions, especially about navigating in the farm.

I was interested by the way the layout is designed, which may help to structure the activities and areas on the map.

Maybe have a different farm entrance around the bus stop for each slightly smaller farm, like one normally placed, one southern, one near the minecart, one up against a wall near the normal entrance, like this:

I actually really like the four corners farm. The way down is rarely blocked, making it one of the easier farms to leave south. The four corners make planning pretty easy if you want a simple farm. The cliffs provide natural fencing. I got perfection here with sheep by putting a total of five barns and one coop in three of the corners.

I never leave south because I use the forest farm lmaoo. But I guess that is a perk.

Well, I don't find any farm really ugly; personally, I just prefer the ones with lots of water, like Meadowlands or Hilltop. Didn't try Riverland yet, but it's visually appealing. When it comes to playing, probably every map has its pros and cons.

it's not worth it. it's an ideal multiplayer farm for players who want their own defined space and don't know how to share a standard farm or whatever. for solo play it's an atrocious map, but it DOES have most of the perks that other maps have, albeit smaller in size (foraging, fishing, mining)

I agree that the Riverland farms looks good too. For me the *best-looking* farms in no particular order are Forest, Beach, and Meadowlands, but I rank Riverland just behind them, my only complaint being the shabby-looking bridges that look like scrap wood haphazardly nailed together. As far as the lack of space I think it would be a fun challenge to work around that. Never played that one, but I would before playing the rest (Wildnerness, Standard, Hilltop, Four Corners).

Four Corners is a really nice introductory farm, but it is unfortunately a very small map. It was great to start on, but really limited if you want lots of animals as it simply does not provide the acreage to support enough grass to feed them all. I tend not to weigh in on pure aesthetics since I've noticed that I tend to "not mind" a lot of stuff that other people find "ugly" so I refrain from voicing aesthetic opinions.
