For Pokémon Fans

I love Stardew Valley, and I also love Pokémon.

So I started wondering: what would the villagers’ Pokémon teams look like? I don’t imagine EVERYONE having a full team of six Pokémon, taking care of that many would require a lot of time and money. Even in the Pokémon games, most trainers don’t have six; that usually only happens near the endgame, and those trainers are meant to be especially skilled.

That leads to another question: what kinds of Pokémon would naturally live around Stardew Valley? Does it even matter, since we could assume that some of the adults have traveled and brought Pokémon from other regions? But then, what about the kids? I’m not exactly sure how old they are, but they’re probably old enough to have their own Pokémon. Since they don’t travel, their teams would likely be made up of local Pokémon.

Anyways, i was just curious.

Do you think its not to far fetched to give Robine 3 pokemons wich are the family line of Timburr ? Or is there other pokemons who would fit better for her ?

Oh and Demetrius definetly should get a Shroomish ! Right ?

Oh and about Sebastian, i thought about a specter pokemon maybe ? Or perhaps not... just a pokemon that like Pranks ! Because Sebastian like to do pranks with his friends so his pokemon would help him out

Sebastian would definitely have a frog pokemon for sure. And some dark type.

Yeah i can see that ! Problem is this is pretty limited, the only frog pokemon thats Dark type would be Greninja who is water/dark , but it doesn't really fit with his vibe.
Why not Bellibolt ? He is electric type and is a frog pokemon !
When Bellibolt was still Tadbulb, he would be used like a lamp in Sebastian's dark room, plus in its pokedex entry it is said that “It floats in the air thanks to the electricity stored in its body. On stormy days, it levitates a little higher than usual.” wich fit with Sebastian's outing when its stormy ! Plus when he evolve it into Bellibolt, it would make sure Sebastian doesn't experience any power outage wich is pretty helpful considering how Sebastian is always working on his computer !

Yeah ! I don't know how many pokemon he would have though...
Anyways as a start, i say he has a Pumpkaboo ! I mean, he love pumpkins ! Plus its a ghost/grass type !

Leo would have 4-5, because he used the hisui pokeballs, and spends all his time in the wild
Mr Qi would have 6, likely a legendary

Okay the Koffing pokemon for Sebastian actually made me wheeze (pun intended) thats such a fun idea too !
For Abigail why Dedenne ? I more see Mismagius
And as for Sam i prefer Ludicolo, it makes more sense x]

And we can even say Leo doesn't even need to catch pokemon with Pokeballs and he is more like N right ? Oh wait, perhaps this concept could be applied to Linus too ! Its even more fitting !
