New to the game, currently on year 2 summer, loving almost everything, but a few things about food are bothering me a lot.
1. Sashimi - wish it required an additional ingredient (possibly as an advanced option to avoid upsetting many people), and restore less energy/health too (or maybe not, depends on what the ingredient would be). Currently it's a free energy source, and a nearly universal "like" gift. It's depressing how spammable and exploitable it is. Which brings me to the point #2.
2. Add food cooldown status (again as an advanced option) - when eating food, you can't eat again for 30 in-game minutes or so, this would promote usage of better and more expensive foods instead of spamming the infinite Sashimi to refill health/energy instantly.
3. Not directly about food, but still related, i think the enemies in the mines should be a a lot harder even if the food cooldown was implemented. That would give a chance to at least consider buying any of the weapons or crafting any rings. I had absolutely no motivation to do either so far, because whatever i got as loot was more than enough. Reading other posts, it sounds like Skull Cavern may be challenging and i haven't been there yet, but thing is that there is already a wide variety of weapons and rings available to me, yet the mines give me no motivation to spend money/resources on them.
