If you are indoors or on Ginger Island, grow them in a flower pot. If you are outdoors on your farm, there is a craftable flower tub item, plus several ones you can purchase.

In the 3 days winter market sub-event, you can purchase from a boat to the left of Willy's hut, a series of decoration items, that are looking like a flower pot and can be placed anywhere, even outdoors. They change plant depending on season! You can get them from Pierre's too, or other event(s) also. Got you covered, boss:

There are a bunch of seasonal plants (and some that have the same look while not changing with the seasons), as well as flower pots in any omni-seasonal areas if that suits you. Lastly, there are flower/plant wall decorations, though those are a little bit tangential to what you originally wanted.
