Flower dance event

Hi! I love how Stardew Valley have minigames and interesting well made cutscenes. Other farm games reuse things already programmed in game to make events, but this game put effort in it with exclusive things. I really appreciate that from the beggining. But the only event that I don't like so much is the Flower dance. I actually expected to see more when I saw it, the dance is pretty lame, honestly. Short, unmemorable music, and boring "dance", is just the boys walking slowly and girls lifting hands. It is ironic that Haley presumes to be the queen of the dance when the steps can be done by anyone. I think it should be longer, with a catchy beat, and interesting dance moves. It could even be a dance minigame, although that would be asking too much. If you want a good example of a floral dance event, I would give the Harvest Moon 64, to this day I remember the melody and the dance steps that were made.

This is certainly something I noticed too. Among all the events, the Flower Dance does seem to be just underneath all the rest. Either expanding upon the dance itself or adding in a tiny minigame or something would be fun - that said, going overboard would ruin the feeling of the dance, cause I feel like it was supposed to feel pretty quaint. It's one of the smaller festivities and I like that, but yes, something else could be added to it.

I agree. I think it would be a fun twist if we could get the characters to dance with each other. Like Marlon with Marnie, or Clint with Haley. Each time the festival rolls around you could pick a new pair of people (: As for the queen of the dance why not have king as well? The king or queen role would be in charge of doing something year round...
