Fishing Spots in First Spring for Min/Max

So I've been playing the game since like 2018 but I still can't figure out where to fish early game in Spring (First year). I usually go to the Mountain Lake, but I really enjoy min/maxing so I also go to the river under Leah's cottage for the chubs (For easy food). I also know that mountain lake is ultimately more profitable (not counting catfish cause those things are a mess) but I don't know if I should focus on early money or energy boosts from the chubs.

JUST SAYING:
This has nothing to do with later seasons or years, I'm just wondering witch one is better for min/max profiles.

Early money is useful to get your backpack upgrades. Once your crops are becoming a bit too expensive to manage then think about keeping them for energy.

I think the most profitable fishing spot (in spring) at the mointain lake. But in rainy days, river below jas house is the most profitable
