Fish; Useful or not

It took me about a year IRL to get comfortable with fishing. I still prefer to make heavy use of crab pots and buffs. Make the mini game easy enough and even I can nail a fish to the wall.

I agree too but the way she says it makes me laugh. Idk why she tries so hard to speak English but fails tremendously. She's as bad at speaking English as your at fishing.

Fishing in my experience is honestly a pretty frontloaded skill. I usually just go fishing from days 2-5 up until the mines open, and then I go there instead. I usually fish in bubble spots which get you a ton of fish that sell well and during special events like the Trout Derby or the Squid Fest. Even the Night Market gets you fish that sell well.
As for Crab Pots… I suppose some might get a ton of use out of them, but personally, I don’t really bother with them. My main thing is just… fishing isn’t something you normally do a lot whenever you play Stardew Valley, or at least up until the Ginger Farms are unlocked and you get to the Qi Quests, where the legendary fish are unlocked.
