Willy wants to know what is the largest fish anyone has ever caught. For example, I have caught a 61 inch long tuna, probably not a record. I am also curious as to the maximum length of some fish species. I have caught 220 sardines, and the longest is 13 inches. Do they get any bigger? Easy to catch, I convert sardines into high grade plant fertilizer. The largest of 121 caught halibut is 34 inches.

The longest I've caught in my solo was an 81 inch eel, which is maximum size for that guy. Also, the eel is the fish with the longest maximum length in the game.

Regarding your tuna, sardines and halibut: 61 is maximum size for tuna, 13 is maximum size for sardines, and 34 is maximum for halibut. Basically, for all of those, you're tied for 1st place.

I also have caught an 81 inch long eel, so perhaps that is their maximum length also. I was just dreaming that every once in a 1000 fish, that might be a possibility of catching a shockingly really big one.
