Haley has the most character development and my favourite to marry.

Yeah I accidentally activated her two heart event a while ago while trying to use the sewing machine

Voted for Leah and Penny. The others are essentially children. I'm torn between those two now, but will likely marry Penny. Not done that before, and have been with Leah.

Tried some of the young ones too, like Maru and Emily.

Leah is quite easy to marry like just grab some foragable item and give it to her

Sure. But I prefer the more natural albeit it slow process of talking to people to increase relations. A gift now and then if I happen to meet them with something on me I don't think they hate

In the current save I'm at the end of year 1 and just got into the Casino. The gadget there says I've handed out 40 gifts. Between 5 and 10 of those were probably food to Linus. Plus accidents like seaweed to Willie and fiber to Pam

Sometimes I wish that Linus won the vote instead of Shane. Oh by the way at one point there was a vote on a new character that's already in the game and the vote was for making it so you could marry them so the options were Shane (who won), Linus, and another but I don't remember who it was
