faux suggestion: nemesis

i think itd be gr8 if you could get negative hearts, with unique anti-heart events, and once you max out the person becomes your nemesis forever.

why: i want clint (and pierre when i remember he exists) to know how much i dont like him and for us to be bonded in a mutually-detrimental relationship

I don't really like this idea, but it does make sense for them to hate you, if you keep gifting them trash/hitting with slingshot projectiles, assuming it'd work like the normal friendship gains, there's no way you'd get there accidentally. Still don't see this in the game though. Also it locks you out of perfection, which requires max friendship with everyone, no?

The idea is interesting but I fell like it could be improved. Like for example the negative heart counter only shows up after 12 hated gifts given consecutively (2 seasons of hating). While I like the nemesis idea I fell like you should be allowed to regain your friendship though using one of 2 ways 1- giving 32 liked or loved gifts in a row or 2- using the shrine of memory and paying a different value from when you make you ex forget you.
As for the perfection requirements It could also be solved maybe with the help of joja waivers or maybe with a new evil shrine in the witch's hut that would make your nemesis appear in the perfection counter as a max friendship npc.

I don't use the waivers so I completely fogot they exist. A new shrine is a cool idea though. All of yours here are, honestly.

oh yeah i def wouldnt want it in the game for real, hence putting it here instead of the actual game suggestions section lol, i considered it but didnt wanna take the (probably small) chance of CA eventually seeing it and thinking it was being sincere
if i could code for **** id honestly consider making it as a mod tho, to satisfy my gremlin side during certain playthroughs

A mod is defo a great idea for everything that doesn't really fit but would be fun seeing in-game anyway. There doesn't seem to be a working one one Nexus, only a template of sorts, and I'm also no modder, so gl finding it. Maybe someday...
