Issue Extreme lag, desync, and disconnecting.

Been playing with my wife for three years in game now. We're using Stardew Valley expanded, Ridgeside village, and all the requirements for those two mods. Things worked great for a while, but things have been gradually falling apart the longer we spend in game. What was once occasional minor lag and desync has become massive lag spikes - My wife is often HOURS behind in game, and everything is just completely out of sync. On bad days, she can't even stay connected, just constantly getting kicked and having to rejoin. REALLY hoping I can find some solution, as we're both really loving the game, but these issues are making it entirely unplayable. We even tried playing on a LAN connection instead of over steam, but it still had the major desync issues. Somehow.

We're both on Windows.

Any advice on how we can fix this would be so greatly appreciated. Just want to go back to enjoying the game without disconnecting every few minutes.

Your mods are outdated - try updating them.

Also, for performance improvements, try installing SpriteMaster! It does performance improvements and texture resampling, and you can turn off the resampling if you dislike it.
