Event Cards?

Hey there! Had a great time trying the game out with my wife last night.

We had a question about when an event card triggers on a season card and grants something, like "Bubbly Spot" which allows you to draw and keep 1 tile from the fishing bag. Is it the starting player who gets to draw the event card and have the event occur, or does it happen for all players (I.E. each player gets to draw a fish tile)?

Only the starting player gets the item. This also includes if rain moves crops off the track - they go into the starting player's inventory.

Keep in mind you follow the symbols from top to bottom, resolving each - which means the starting player might change before or after these effects occur.
