Switch Emily is improperly loaded into a player's house after divorce on days she offers her Tailoring services in Desert Festival

Edit with all the finding in one place:
- This bug relates to Emily on days where she is doing her outfit services in Desert Festival only after she has been divorced.
- On days when she offers her outfit services, she is instead improperly loaded in the player's house out of bounds, and follow the same walking pattern as if she was in her own house. That walking pattern unsuccessfully lead her to out of bounds instead of where she needs to be for her tailoring services.
- On days when she does not offer her outfit services, she is loaded in properly into her own house and everything works fine as that same walking pattern would lead her out of her house and to where she needs to be.


My farm help has been marrying and divorcing for a while now... this time around Emily was divorced but now she is nowhere to be found on the map.

My farm has a total of four players - my main has previously married and then divorced Sebastian. The second profile of the same save (as in a multiplayer profile) has married and divorced all eligible bachelors and bachelorettes and also Krobus. All of this came and went without any issues (all divorcees are still up and about in the valley). The third profile then married but then divorced Emily. Now Emily is nowhere to be found during the Desert Festival. Note, I have not checked for Emily's whereabouts previously in between when she was divorced until this Desert Festival, and have been skipping days until Desert Festival.

She was not in her bed, nor following her normal schedule, nor doing her Outfit Services, nor at the Desert Festival booth - most places I would expect her to be in she was not there.

Note I have not experienced the commonly experienced divorce bug where user is unable to divorce an NPC. We are able to divorce an NPC, and subsequently they (specifically Emily) disappears.
 
Update: I have more confidence in saying that Emily's disappearance is related to the divorce because I experimented with bringing player 2 again, and saw Emily clipping through his house at around 8:50AM despite Emily and him having divorced.

Player 2 is not able to divorce Emily again (Emily is properly considered "divorced"). Player 2 can wipe her memories away.

At 8:20AM she appears at the left side of Player 2's house (near the kitchen), and make a beeline cutting across walls straight to the right going out of bounds at around 8:50AM.
If a player talks to her while facing to the right. She engages in her normal dialog but will instead cut across downward going out of bounds instead. This happens regardless of if Player 2 is present or not.

Once she is properly out of bounds - player is unable to locate her again.

I have video proof of both behaviors, but I'm not sure how to upload videos here 🤔
 
Update: She does not only go for a straight path - she seems to have some predetermined path because if I go to the house even earlier - I see that she actually:
1. Wait out of bounds above the room above the kitchen starting at 6:00AM
2. At 8:00AM, she turns left one step, walks down, turn right one step until she is within bounds to the room above the kitchen
3. Uninterrupted, at 8:10AM she is within bounds to the room above the kitchen, and walks down until she is at the edge of that room, then turn left to go within the walls, go down one step, turn left a few / one step, and continue zigzagging like that until she walks down and start coming back to the right into bounds
4. At 8:40AM she is within bounds at the kitchen (and keeps going right if uninterrupted) - she actually got stuck by a chair, but that only infuriates her even more and make her walk to the right faster - cutting across the walls separating the living room and bedroom, and finally the walls of the house itself.
5. At 9:00AM she is completely out of bounds.

An unrelated kinda issue / softlock. If you put your horse where Emily is supposed to stand for the Tailoring place at the Desert Festival, you will enter a never ending soft-lock where you are stuck trying to go in but could not as Emily wasn't there and then trying to go out but could not as the horse is there. Totally did not try to see if the horse can work in place of Emily to get my outfits.

In the event that she IS one of the two booth vendors, she behaves as normal.

She is waiting in HER house, and follows the exact same walk patterns as the bugged one (down to the zigzagging). It's now immediately obvious to me that her normal walking out of HER house is superseded with her trying to walk out of her house inside my player 2's house.
At 11:10AM she exits out of the bus and goes to her booth.

Update 2: Destroying player 2's house does not lure Emily out of that house, she is just gone instead 🙃
Update 3: If I destroy player 2's house faster than she starts her walking animation (aka using the Wizard's instead of Robin's), she is successfully teleported back to her house, but she no longer performs her walking animation to the Desert Festival. Maybe I need to destroy player 2's house even fasterrrr - more coffee it is.

Final Update: After destroying Player 2's house, Emily will behave normally the following day, so not an ideal situation but since there is a workaround to the situation - I am content for now. Definitely still a bug though.
