Emily and Clint cutscenes

So I wanted Clint and Emily to get together. I deleted Emily's 8 heart event from my save file, and got Clint's 6 heart event [I went to bed directly after to save. The next day I still wanted to get Em's 8 heart event and thought it would change... it did not. So i exited the game and now I'm writing this, so if I do Emily's 8 heart event AFTER Clint's 6 heart event, does it actually change anything?

That would be really cool I'd it did, but sadly no. I really want to like Clint but the man is just so darn awkward

I seem to be one of the few players that likes Clint because he reminds me of all the hardworking, introverted tradesmen and fishermen in all the small towns I've lived in, who may seem rough or socially awkward, but have hearts of gold (literally for Clint) and would give their right arms to help when needed.

What are Clint's other strengths, besides the fact that he's occasionally useful?
