Not sure if this is a bug or a game suggestion but on iOS the double or nothing(DON) calculation in Qi’s casino is incorrect.
Double or nothing is offered after winning a hand of calico jack.
Currently, if a player with 100 Qi coins plays a hand of calico jack and wins and they do not select double or nothing they now have 200 Qi coins, if they select DON it lists the bet as 200 coins. If the player loses this DON hand their balance would be 0 coins. This is incorrect. The balance should be 100 coins after losing this DON bet.
The DON bet should work so that a gambling debt (always owed by the house in this case since you can only select DON after a win) is either doubled or null. In the Qi casino, however, the original bet is either lost or doubled rather than null.
Correct example of DON:
hand 1: player A has 100 coins and bets them on hand of calico jack. When hand starts player has 0 coins. Player wins hand and therefore 200 coins (100 coins for their stake + 100 coins from casino).
Next-
DON hand win: player is owed 200 coins (100 coin winnings from first bet x 2) and has a total of 300 coins (100 coins from original stake + 200 coin winnings from DON)
DON hand loss: player is owed zero coins but still has 100 coin balance as they are awarded their original stake back hence double or nothing.
