Linux Does the game work on Linux Mint 21?

Currently I'm running the game on a Linux Mint 20.3 desktop, which works perfectly. But I read on the GOG forums (where I bought the game) that there are problems with running the game on Ubuntu 22, which Linux Mint 21 is based upon. One of the reasons I haven't upgraded yet is that I didn't want to risk the game not working any more. Do anybody else have those operating systems, and does the game work well, also with the GOG version?

No traction on this it seems. But I hope this issue is sorted as part of the 1.6 release at least, so that the game will function correctly on the newest Linux Mint and Ubuntu releases. Admittedly I haven't upgraded due to fear of breaking the game, so don't have personal experience with this, but as you can see others do.
