Does luck effect geode crushers?

I put two omnigeodes into two geode crushers and both spawned prismatic shards. I had a luck buff and I think decent daily luck. Does daily luck / luck buffs effect crushing geodes? Or was this just a coincidence?

Congrats! That's just a coincidence though, luck does make it more likely that you will find geodes when mining, but has no effect on what you receive when breaking them open. The wiki covers everything that is affected by luck, if you are curious: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Luck

The contents of geodes are predictable. If you have access to your save files, you can look up the list on the stardew predictor and open them in the right order. The geode crusher is always one behind Clint, so if you open one with him and one with the crusher, you’ll get the same thing again.

That was changed with 1.6 so that they are back to being synced, previous behaviour was a glitch to do with the order of advancing the list being after crushing the geode for one and before for the other.
