Does deleting stardew on steam remove your save files?

Simple question, i think. I want to delete and reinstall it to automatically delete all the mods.

No, I just uninstalled Stardew Valley and my Saves are all still there (I made a copy of them beforehand of course, just for fun!). Closed and reopened Steam and they're all still there again. If for whatever reason you get Stardew from GOG it uses the same Save folder so they share, and neither will delete the Saves folder when you uninstall the game.

As Lew said they stay, I'd definitely make a copy though (even time to time if you aren't deleting the game, if you spend a lot of time on a save it's heart wrenching to lose it).

I keep mine on an external usb stick, the files are so small they take basically no space and I can transfer them back and forth to my phone when I'm playing the same versions
