Does anyone know how Jade Rings actually work?

I'm working on something for Combat in Stardew Valley, and I realized I have no clue how Jade Rings actually work. I know they're not worth it even in the best case scenario, but I want my math to be accurate and it's actually quite difficult to conclusively prove the math behind them. Here are 3 scenarios I have in my head for how they could actually work, I'm hopeful that someone who has looked "under the hood" can help verify which scenario it is:

- They do as described, increase "Crit Power" by 10%. So if you have a weapon with 200 crit power, you now have 220 crit power (242 with 2). If conversely you have a weapon with 50 crit power, you now have 55 (61 with 2). If you started with zero, you still have zero. Those crit power figures go into the general crit multiplier calc of 3+(crit power/50).

- They increase the overall crit multiplier. So if you had that same weapon with a 200 crit power, the resultant multiplier of 7 is increased by 10% to 7.7. 50 crit power (4x crits) are 4.4x normal strength, and with zero crit power you're looking at 3.3x normal strength crits.

- They add 10 crit power, not 10%.

Does anyone know, or have a way to find out? Even with two Jade Rings thanks to the large damage ranges on weapons it's virtually impossible to know which one it is thanks only to the resultant damage dealt. Any assistance which can be provided is greatly appreciated.

I don’t know but someone should respond soon. There have been several videos on YouTube about new weapons and rings. I believe ezlily and Brandigan btw featured ways to increase critical hit power. Their videos might have the information you need.

It is option A, so far as I know.

Edit to add:
Hmmm... now that I think about it, and reexamine how you phrased things, I might have to amend my answer to B. Option A would do nothing unless you had a weapon with a bonus to crit power, so it can't be that, I have to assume.

Think of the critical strike itself having a base crit. power of 150 (150/50=3)
The weapons crit. power is added to the base crit. power so an Iridium Needle has 150 + 200 = 350 crit power.
Each Jade Ring, adds 10% to the combined crit power.
So an Iridium Needle has 350 x 1.1 = 385 crit. power with 1 Jade Ring, and 350 x 1.2 = 420 with 2 Jade Rings
Divide these number by 50 to get the multiplier: 350 / 50 =7 , 385 / 50 = 7.7 and 420 / 50 = 8.4.

For weapons without bonus crit. power the multipliers are 3.3 and 3.6 respectively

To set this up as a formula:

(Base damage x (150 + Crit. Power) x (1 + (number of Jade Rings / 10)) / 50
