Does anyone else notice the closeness between some of the characters on Glee and in Stardew??

Idk if anyone else saw this but I was watching the TV show glee and they have this character named Sam who is EXACTLY like Sam from Stardew, he has the same haircut and hair color, same name, same hobbies, etc etc. ALSO there's a character whose featured in a few episodes named Penny who is a love interest to Sam and behaves exactly like Penny in Stardew as well!! She even has red hair!! Is it genuinely just a coincidence??
