Do Item Entities Despawn?

So I’m not the brightest Stardew Player, and I was lazy, so I didn’t take the debris off my farm till year 5. So I thought it would be a good idea to blow the debris right of my farm using mega bombs. So I bought 100 and blew a ton of trees and rocks off my farm. But obviously I can’t hold tons of items, so there were items sprawled everywhere on my farm. I was wondering if item entities despawn naturally, like if 300 wood was left on the ground for too long, it just deletes automatically. If this doesn’t exist, I have to clean up my farm myself. Oopsie

Yes they'll disappear after a day or two.

From my experience it doesn't despawn overnight at least.

Actually, I just logged on to Stardew and all of the items despawned. PHEW!

They despawn when you exit to the title screen, I believe. At least, that's the case for items you drop out of your inventory. I'm not 100% sure if it works the same way for items on the ground that you never picked up, but I would assume so.

From my own experience and what people have mentioned in other threads, I'm pretty sure an item that's dropped out of the inventory will stay over night and then confuse you when a random peice of sap pops into your inventory while an item that wasn't picked up in the first place will despawn overnight.
