Dialogue stuck during Victor cutscene

Hello! While playing couch co-op, 2P gets stuck on Victor's 10 heart cutscene. The dialogue stops loading soon after the location changes, but time keeps progressing. Nothing happens when it gets to 2am. I tried to remove all mods aside from Expanded. I tried to downgrade SMAPI. Not sure what else I could attempt - any other ideas?
